LIMITED COLLECTION: The personal information collected by the Registration Form and the Payment Form, is limited to that which is necessary to fulfil the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy. No additional information is collected, directly or indirectly.

PURPOSE: The Registration and Details Forms collect personal information (e.g. name, address, e-mail) which will be used to contact you for the following purposes:

• Send you information from MicroAid. If you do not wish to receive any of this information, please exercise your Opt-Out right by changing your settings in your account.

• Contact you in the event of a necessary communication exchange requested by you or initiated by MicroAid. No Opt-Out right is available given the explicit requirement for MicroAid to contact you, for example, to provide you with a funds received confirmation or confirmation that your plan has started in the village.

MicroAid does not exchange email address or personal data of any kind to third parties for the purposes of marketing or other unwanted junk mail.

The Credit Card Payment Form collects payment information (e.g. cardholder name, address, credit card number, expiry date) required in-order to process a donation requested by you. Credit Card details are processed by a trusted third party (WorldPay) recommended to us by HSBC bank. MicroAid does not retain credit card details of any kind. Personal information in aggregate form, that is not personally identifiable, may be used for analytical or statistical purposes only.

LIMITED USE, DISCLOSURE AND RETENTION: Your personal information will not be used for any other purpose other than stated in this Privacy Policy, except only with your explicit consent or as required by law. Your personal information will not be sold or transferred to any other third party under any circumstances. Your personal information will only be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes defined, or as required by law.

ACCESS: The personal information collected by MicroAid is limited to what you have provided directly. No additional personal information is collected through any other source. Access to your personal information may be obtained by looking at your details online or by contacting us. MicroAid may apply a nominal fee in order to process this request.

ACCURACY: The accuracy of your personal information is governed by the accuracy of the information you provided at the time of collection. MicroAid does not verify the accuracy of the personal information you provide, other than that which is provided for payment purposes. At the time you entered your personal information you were requested to verify the information for accuracy. MicroAid is not responsible for any errors or problems that arise as a result of inaccurate information provided by you. SECURITY SAFEGUARDS: MicroAid will protect your personal information by appropriate security safeguards. Your personal information transmissions, including your payment information, will be encrypted. Appropriate information security measure will be in place to safeguard your personal information during storage and use.
